COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Students will learn how to avoid costly OSHA fines that could severely impact the company. Students will gain knowledge of how to use Personal Protective Equipment and other protective measures. 5 hours OCILB APPROVED CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDIT HOURS.
TYPICAL STUDENTS:
Typical students will include technicians, operators, mechanics, maintenance personnel as well as managers and supervisors. The student will gain basic electrical theory, injury and fatality statistics and information from the NFPA 70E.

- Flash Hazard analysis
- Hazards associated with common electrical tasks

- How to read and interpret the Hazard Class and PPE matrix charts
